Sex and the City

Following the passing of her mother, Miranda visited the shops to get a black bra to wear to the funeral. She is immediately approached by a pushy saleswoman (Lucille) that jumps into measuring her, despite Miranda’s objections. She goes to the change room to try on her new size when Lucille invites herself in, again going directly against Miranda’s wishes. 

Every woman has dealt with an overzealous bra salesperson that has no concept of personal space. During an emotional time, Miranda had enough and lashed out but realizes it’s not about Lucille at all, she’ll never fight with her mom again. This scene is so touching and perfectly encapsulates experiences of womanhood.
